Native File Processing

SIRC helps its clients review native files efficiently. How do we do it? By helping you reduce the size of your collection, efficiently review documents, and produce the relevant files in the format of your choice.

Pre-Processing

The initial step in this process is to break your collection into its individual parts, so each native file, email message, and email attachment is extracted, numbered, and logged.

With your data parsed to its individual components, we can de-duplicate either across the entire collection or within custodian. Either way, you are narrowing down what you need to review. For larger collections, clients typically filter by dates, keywords or phrases, or file types to further reduce the number of documents they need to review.

Native Document Review

In most cases, the next step is an attorney review of the potentially responsive documents. Many of our clients review the native files using their in-house litigation support software, primarily Summation and Concordance. For larger collections, SIRC will help you find an on-line repository tool that meets your needs.

We can help you structure your review so you can streamline the process. Using Summation or Concordance? We can set up your database and then provide case-specific training for your review team.

Native Document Production

Once you have completed your review and identified documents for production, you simply send us the list of documents to produce and we generate your production in the desired format.
